Ovary 8kg!

Went to the medical faculty last Friday.

Had a tour in the Anatomy Library and Pathology Museum.

Anatomy Library :

Parts of human body being cut off.

Kinda creepy when I saw,half of a man's face.

(but he got a gold tooth! =D )

Pathology Museum :

Where the abnormal or deformed parts are body being stored.

This is where I saw THE THING!

hahaha..I saw a pair of ovaries.

AND EACH ONE OF IT WEIGHT ALMOST 8KG!

(because of ovarian cancer)

like bigger than the size of a ball...

The ovaries belongs to someone in her middle-aged in 1966.Poor woman. 

For those who doesn't know :
The ovary is an ovum-producing reproductive organ, often found in pairs as part of the vertebrate female reproductive system. Ovaries in anatomically female individuals are analogous to testes in anatomically male individuals, in that they are both gonads and endocrine glands.(from wikipedia)
