West End Stars in Concert-Malaysia

Last night I went to Istana Budaya to watch the concert with my grandmother[Mama will be going tonight,alone.]Mama purchased two tickets which cost RM86.00[for upper circle] but something happened[system error],the tickets were upgraded to RM406.00[for stalls]and we don't have to pay extra charge!Another lucky day for me[totally grateful,Thank you Allah.]

The concert features three men in the poster above[They are 3 musical theater stars!] and a Malaysian guest artiste Jaclyn Victor.I love the last part when they sang Fantasia Bulan Madu.!

Stephen Rahman-Hughes is no stranger to our local stage.He played the lead role of Hang Tuah in Puteri Gunung Ledang the Musical. He has also starred in Bombay Dreams, West Side Story and The Merchant of Venice amongst others[I got this extra info from the internet. =P]. He also plays the role of Merong Mahawangsa in Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa.

Stephen is also a part of theatre land’s super group, Teatro, alongside Simon Bailey who, in turn, has played major roles in Romeo & Juliet, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and We Will Rock You.

Ramin Karimloo, has taken leave as Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s latest sequel, Love Never Dies to be part of this Concert.  He previously was the Phantom in the hit show The Phantom of The Opera, lead in Miss Saigon and also has also acted in a concert of Les Miserables.[He is my favourite!]
