Northern Tip of Borneo :Tanjung Simpang Mengayau,Kudat

Waking up,get dressed and get going!

Will be going to Kudat which is basically the end of Borneo.

Passing by Mount Kinabalu.

It's a tiring journey because of the condition of the road.

Stop here for refreshment.
Actually,we didn't go to Hutan Simpan Ulu Kukut, just stopped by to buy some beverages.

Before reaching Kudat,we passed by Tuaran which is known for Tamparuli(I saw an upside down house!Unique!)and Kota Belud.Half of the time,I was sleeping(as usual).

Stopping at cultural destinations such as Kampung Bavanggazo Rungus known for Rungus Longhouses. I bought some souvenirs for my friends here.

No,i didn't buy this :)
Their handmade crafts are beautiful because of their intricate details and sold at a affordable price.

Meanwhile,Kampung Sumangkap Gong Factory is known for its traditional gong-making village and not to forget the Gombizau Honey Bee Farm where my mom and grandmother bought bottles of honey!

Throughout the journey,I realised the houses there have a similar features like the ones in Malacca. Most of them are made from wood. The houses were tiny which my brother would have to hunch to get into it.

After travelling for three and a half hour, the 215 km journey ended at Tanjung Simpang Mengayau. The trip paid off after seeing the clear blue sea.

On the west, it faces the South China Sea, and on the east the Sulu Sea.

Filling our empty, growling stomach at the nearest restaurant.

Bought the bracelet at Kampung Bavanggavo.

*Thought of watching Men In Black 3 but apparently everyone wanted to pull up their blankets and doze off to slumberland.=)
